An Hour Of Glory
This is a repost from March 2, 2014. At that time, I had spent part of my Sunday morning listening to Rev. Charles G. Forbes who was at the pulpit of the Minetto United Methodist Church. His words really sunk in that morning. Later in the day, I posted a photo of that morning's alter flowers, along with the following words:
"There are times when the words and messages you hear seem to be spoken directly at you; pronouncements that seem just so appropriate you think that they couldn’t possibly be intended for anyone else who might be listening. The words I heard this morning were like that. They have given me a new way to view the week ahead and engage with it. I am truly looking forward to the transfiguration."
Today we had to say goodbye to Chuck. Thanks for everything, my friend. Godspeed on your walkabout.

Looking in the rear view mirror was a spectacular site, so I reached out the window and captured a shot.
