Afternoon Walkabout taking in the last warm fall days.
On a Dead End road called Jericho Lake Road we found York Pond. We were exploring ‘off the beaten trail’ roads in New Hampshire north of the White Mountains. Just us and nature.
Walking the beach of Maine was nice; exploring New Hampshire incredibly beautiful; Vermont always provides an interesting story; but there is no place like home in the Adirondacks.
Five days of fun and exploring back roads, State Parks and interesting places.
As we made our way across Vermont, attempting to visit as many State Parks as we could get into, we travelled down a narrow curvy road and found Boulder State Park. After parking at the closed gate and walking down a leaf filled path, we came across this beautiful view of the lake. The temperature was chilly, however, the sunshine made for a nice walk along the beach capturing photos of the clouds. It is impossible to describe the serenity of being the only ones there connecting with nature. Just being present.
First day in New Hampshire exploring the coastline of Portsmouth.
I could not resist taking this photo of the trees reflected in the pond. Flipping it upside down gives the appearance the leaves are falling from above.
Relaxing autumn morning photographing Happy Valley.
"Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all." ~Stanley Horowitz
A relaxing day walking around the lakes.
Simplicity in character, in manners, in style; in all things the supreme excellence is simplicity.

We had no idea what we were in store for as we began our journey up Hunter Mountain on September 2nd . . . that haunting voice of the ski lift attendant “once lost, gone forever”. https://www.newbeginningsholisticwellness.com/new-beginnings/2018/9/3/always-protected-hunter-mountain-miracle
An afternoon exploring the sunflowers at Wickham Farms
I absolutely love this young girls playful spirit. She was ready and just full of life.

Looking in the rear view mirror was a spectacular site, so I reached out the window and captured a shot.
A good life.
Short clip of a Live iPhone photo turned video. We have been taking the crystal ball with us on our adventures and have captured some pretty amazing shots.
With my One and Only on the beach at sunet. A few things I love.
The first time we visited this place was completely by accident in 2017. We stumbled upon it while exploring out on the Harley. We went back this spring and had the trails to ourselves.
Trails, waterfalls and caves all in one hidden away spot.
